Workshops
One important aspect of the JPAC mission is of course education. With that in mind JPAC hosts workshops, special events and visiting artists throughout the season. Upcoming events can be found on our website or posted in the Jeslyn lobby. We feel our students can develop stronger technique through taking classes from various qualified instructors, and learning different styles.
Intermediate/Advanced Workshops:
Saturday March 1st, 2008: Modern Dance with Danahbella Danceworks
A multi-foci investigation of the body in space and time, we will engage in a kineticexperiential celebration of momentum, gravity, flight and breath.
Adult Workshops:
JPAC currently has an ongoing adult workshop program open to adults in the community looking to stay in shape, try something different, learn something new or brush up on dance/theatre skills that may need some dusting off. Workshops happen one Saturday a month and feature the ever popular belly dance class as well as ballet, hip-hop, hoofing (tap) and many more. Remember to check back for up to date information.
