Rachel Buel • Faculty
Rachel began dancing at the age of three under her mother, Tamara Buel, R.A.D.R.T.S. She has studied the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance of London, England. She received merit on both her Intermediate and Advanced Foundation Major Examinations. She was also adjudicated annually by the American Academy of Ballet, receiving nine gold medals with distinction. Miss Buel studied at the Royal Academy of Dance summer intensive in Baltimore, Maryland in 2005. She also spent three weeks at Ben Stevenson's Texas Ballet Theatre's summer intensive during Summer 2006. She has trained under the direction of Mrs. Peggie Wallis of Bentonville, Arkansas. Rachel danced as a company member of the River City Youth Ballet of Charleston, WV under the direction of Michelle Raider. She also performed in the Moscow Ballet's Russian Nutcracker. Rachel is excited to be a part of the Jeslyn Performing Arts Center and is looking forward to the experiences to be shared with your children.
