Jessica Lynn Fox • Artistic Director

Jessica Lynn Fox is the founder and director of both Jeslyn Performing Arts Center and Jeslyn Dance Gallery. Fox holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Ohio University in dance performance, choreography and education. She is also a certified Pilates instructor (Physical Mind Institute) and Yoga instructor (Yoga Alliance), as well as a licensed Kindermusik educator.

Mrs. Fox has enjoyed performing and touring professionally the last five years in New York, Washington DC and multiple stages along the east coast. Additionally she has danced at the world renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre (NY) and was on faculty at The Washington Ballet (DC) and Blackrock Center for the Arts (MD). Fox has received many grants through the years and was recently awarded a fellowship from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Fox has been studying the arts since 1984 and feels blessed to be in a field based on creativity. The center has been a dream turned to reality for Fox and she looks forward to years to come of bringing Art to the Heart of Huntington.
